Work

Platforms built at GrowthScope, projects of my own, and open source — each one written up with what I actually built.

A commerce API and admin console for the store behind it — with the storefront left entirely to the merchant.

Littlestall — littlestall.com
Littlestall — themes.littlestall.com
  1. 01

Built the customer, order, and product modules on the FastAPI and PostgreSQL backend.

  2. 02

Added passwordless email one-time-password sign-in, rejected inactive staff accounts on every request, and removed the Redis dependency from the sign-in stack.

  3. 03

Integrated MarxPay and PayPal card payments, with settlement confirmed on the server before an order is accepted.

  4. 04

Added merchant configuration across the admin console and the headless API: product collections, navigation menus, and store currency.

  5. 05

Reworked payment methods into a shared registry and moved order addresses into their own table, keeping the data model clean as the API grew.

  6. 06

Built five storefront themes with a showcase site, each deployed on its own Cloudflare Worker.

A desktop invoicing app for small businesses that keeps every record on the owner's own computer — no internet required.

Tradebook — tradebook.lk
  1. 01

Built the invoicing flow in the desktop app: checkout with PDF export and print preview, tax invoices, warranty options, payment methods backed by a payment ledger, and a cashbook.

  2. 02

Made printing work across operating systems: silent one-click printing on Windows through a bundled print engine, and CUPS printing on macOS and Linux.

  3. 03

Built an offline device licensing system using Ed25519 signed licences, so the software verifies its licence with no internet connection.

  4. 04

Built the licensing API and admin console on FastAPI and PostgreSQL, covering devices, subscriptions, activation keys, and fleet statistics.

  5. 05

Added automatic updates served from Cloudflare R2 that back up the local database before every update, plus company data export and restore.

  6. 06

Set up the GitHub Actions release pipeline for Windows, macOS, and Linux installers, and raised quality with Vitest, Playwright, Zod validation, and TypeScript strict mode.

A catalogue of client-ready websites with live previews, pricing, and a request form — every theme served from one domain.

GrowthScope Themes — themes.growthscope.lk
  1. 01

Built the showcase site that lists every theme by category with live previews, pricing, and a request form.

  2. 02

Built each theme as a standalone app, so a theme folder can be handed straight to a client project.

  3. 03

Set up the build pipeline so every theme builds itself, with the catalogue and all previews served from one domain.

  4. 04

Cut build times with Turborepo incremental builds and caching, so only the themes that changed are rebuilt.

  5. 05

Connected the request form to the shared email service, resolving cross-origin and environment issues.

The official course website for a professional institute, with online enrolment and a payment backend behind it.

  1. 01

Built the Next.js and TypeScript site: responsive navigation, hero and scroll-reveal animations, lecturer and testimonial sections, a career pathway chart, Sinhala translations, and search engine optimisation.

  2. 02

Built the course registration flow: a multi-step enrolment form that loads live course, intake, and subject data from the backend and carries the student through to online payment.

  3. 03

IBSL Worker — integrated the Marx IPG payment gateway and built the pricing and discount engine, moving price calculation to the server so it could not be altered from the browser.

A Cloudflare Worker that receives website contact forms and sends branded email.

Sri Lankan history, sacred places, and living tradition — a fast, search-engine-friendly travel information site.

UntoldLanka — untoldlanka.com

A modern Next.js 15 SSG template with React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, and WebGL-powered plasma effects.

Next.js SSG Template — nextjs-ssg-template.vercel.app
  1. 01

Production-ready with automated code quality checks: Husky pre-commit hooks, Prettier, ESLint, and strict TypeScript.

  2. 02

Jamstack architecture, optimised for static site generation.

A small TypeScript Express microservice that accepts contact-form submissions and forwards them as transactional email using Resend.

  1. 01

Decouples contact-form email from the frontend behind a single secure API that delivers messages to a configured recipient.

  2. 02

Exposes POST /api/email, accepting a name, email, and message, protected by an x-api-key header.
